Country Farm Furniture was established in 1977 by John & Koko Harris, formerly of The Red Barn in Newcastle, Maine.

In 1980 Country Farm Furniture moved into the Mikelskys Building on Front Street in Bath, which had been a furniture store since the 1920's.

November of 2004 brought new ownership as Barry & Vicki Arsenault, Dick & Jane Price, and Tim & Adele Clark purchased the store from John & Koko.
